Staff enforce these in-game and on Discord. Full wording lives in Discord #rules.
- Don't be a dick. If you are negatively impacting the community, staff will act.
- 16+ only. Keep the maturity level up.
- No spam pings of staff or other members. Replies are fine unless someone asked you to stop.
- No advertising or sales pitches without staff permission. If staff say no, that is the answer.
- Streaming and uploads are welcome on any platform. Credit Ouroboros SMP and keep channel promos in
#content.
- Language: cursing is fine; do not overdo it.
- No demeaning other people, IRL politics, or NSFW content anywhere on Discord.
- Be awesome to each other.
Discord rules apply here too.
- No griefing or hacking (bannable).
- Griefing means hitting weaker or AFK players for no real gain, lava-casting builds, killing tamed animals for fun, spawn camping, or clearing a base with no purpose. If the point is to waste time or make someone quit, it counts.
- Raiding is allowed when the defender is online. We are adding mechanics around this. Clearing someone out for no reason is griefing.
- Corpse looting is PvP.
- Hacking is any client change that gives an unfair advantage: x-ray, fly, aimbot, freecam, and similar.
- Client mods like minimap, world map, and full bright are fine. If a mod might give an unfair edge, ask staff before using it.
